I only have secondary sources of information about Giuseppe because direct information about him is hard to find.

He is one of my maternal 3 x great-grandparents.

Giuseppe was born, possibly in Valletta, to Ignazio Grech and Eleonore Cauchi¹

He was born between his parents’ marriage in 1809, and the 1830s. Since his daughter was born in the 1850s, he was born no later than that.

Family

On Saturday 19 April 1851², he married Francesca Casha^{1 2} at the Basilica of Our Lady of Safe Haven in Valletta, Malta².

Together they had at least 1 child:

Notable events

I know he lived in Valletta because this is were his daughter was born⁴.

He worked as a tailor⁵, possibly also in Valletta.

Death

I have no direct information about his death.

He was still alive in 1885 when his grandson was born⁶.
