I know little about Giorgio Darmenia because few records exist.

He is my 6 x great-grandfather.

He was born in Malta after 1716, son of Giuseppe d’Armenia (or Darmenia) and Diana Foti^{1 2}.

Since his parents married in Valletta, it’s reasonable to conclude they lived there. It follows that Giuseppe would have been born there too.

Family

On 18 January 1748 Giorgio married Margherita Gherada (or Gerada²) in Zejtun, Malta¹.

They had 2 children:

• Maria¹
• Giuseppe²

Death

I don’t where he died, when or how.  I also don’t know where he is buried.
