Ermengarde was the wife of Louis I, Emperor of the West.

She is my 32 x great-grandmother.

Ermengarde was born between 775 and 780. She was the daughter of Enguerrand, Count of Hesbaye, Belgium, and an unnamed mother.

Ermengarde married Louis in 7942. She was his first wife1, so her sons inherited most of the titles.
