Antonio lived in Valletta all of his life, which is logical since this the capital was the main source of employment in the 19th century.
He is one of my paternal 4 x great-grandfathers.
Since he died at the age of 76 in 18881 he was born in either 1811 or 1812, in Valletta, Malta2.
He was the son of Alessandro3 and Margarita née Callus4.
Family
On Sunday 10th January 18365, he married Anna nèe Cassar6. They married in the Basilica of Our Lady of Safe Haven in Valletta7.

His last known address was 100 St. Ursula street, Valletta, Malta10.
Occupation
The only record I have is his act of death which lists him as being a Commerciante which translates to “Merchant” or “Commercial trader.” I have no indication about what he dealt in or what this would have meant.
Death
He outlived his wife and died a widower11.
He died on Thursday 29 December 188712, at home in Valletta, Malta13. His cause of death is recorded as Vecchiaja, which translates to “Old age”. His family buried him at the Maria Addolorata cemetery in Marsa, Malta.
